Kate is an experienced professional with a wealth of knowledge about Darien and the surrounding communities. Having resided in town, with husband Michael for over two decades, Kate has developed an extensive understanding of all the wonderful attributes that Connecticut's "Gold Coast" has to offer. Kate has a strong background in finance, having worked in both the banking and hedge fund industries for many years. Subsequently, over the past 14 years, Kate has focused on the local construction industry, specializing in custom home building. Her experience ranges from back-office management to front-line project design and finishes, making her an invaluable asset to any construction project.
Kate's passion for local involvement has been evident in her time devoted to various non-profit organizations, including OPUS, YWCA, the Town of Darien and the Noroton Yacht Club. She is a dedicated mother to two daughters who are currently enrolled in the Darien School System. Kate deeply appreciates the importance of education and community involvement.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with family, long walks, traveling, boating on the LIS, and oil painting. Her creative spirit and love of adventure make her an engaging and dynamic person to be around. Kate is committed to helping others achieve their goals and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
